With a constructive dialogue, we seek to create an awareness of responsibility at a personal and social level. And, therefore, through this access, we act in the prevention of juvenile marginality, crime, drug use and the most varied forms of violence.
For this, socio-educational, recreational, sports, artistic and cultural activities are developed, such as handicrafts, computers, guitar, choir, percussion, futsal, volleyball, table tennis, roller cart, dance, theater, ecological walking, among others.
The actions aim to promote human rights and are developed by the entity to testify to fraternal love, aiming at the realization of a better and more united world.
Our
story.
The Jardim Margarida neighborhood is located in the municipality of Vargem Grande Paulista, on the banks of the Bunjiro Nakao Highway, which connects the municipality to Ibiúna, at Km 47.
The origins of the Integrated Social Assistance and Promotion Center (CIAPS), also known as the Jardim Margarida Project, go back to 1977, when members of the Focolare Movement started offering literacy classes for adults living in the Jardim Margarida neighborhood, in Vargem Grande Paulista (SP).
Formed by farmers and workers in commerce and industry in the region, at first, the neighborhood was completely lacking in infrastructure and basic sanitation and faced problems such as the spread of drugs and violence.
This situation made it urgent to develop special work with children and adolescents affected morally and physically by this reality. Gradually, the project started to have the character of social promotion, with assistance of all kinds and within the existing possibilities, for children, adolescents, young people and for families living in the neighborhood and surroundings.
